Slopestyle Battle 2011 - Willet vs. McMorris, US Open Snowboard Championship US Open Snowboard Championship Slopestyle Battle 2011 - Willet vs. McMorris Eric Willet and Mark McMorris battle it out in the last runs of the Slopestyle.
Before that Eric Willet gives us the low-down on the next day's upcomng US Open Slopestyle Comp and gives a shout out to his home mountain of Breckenridge, CO. This summer he plans to swing through Windell's, Camp of Champions, and hopefully New Zealand. He's on an Omatic Snowboard and got his start competing in USASA.
Mark McMorris has been riding for Burton since October and stunned the world last week by landing the first backside triple cork 1440 trick at a TransWorld Snowboarding shoot, called "The Park Session," at Snowmass, Colo., on March 2, 2011. Bailey Duran Interview 2.19.11 at Catamount Bailey Duran is 5 years old and in her first full season of snowboarding. This young snowboarding phenom is competing in USASA against kids up to 7 years old in the Ruggies age Class. She is a national points leader in boardercross and halfpipe,riding for Eternal Snowboard Shop.
Here we talk with Bailey at Catamount at the CMS USASA halfpipe competition awards ceremony in February 2011 - that's the Catskill Mountain Series, led by series director Bob Basil.

Mountain Creek After Dark, Jan 2011, Vernon, New Jersey Friday night at Mountain Creek, and it's all about the dancing! First we meet Sal Good to talk about our lesson tomorrow at Switch Academy, then we meet his crew, TJ Santana, Jeff, Tory, and Cam. Next, we meet the Wayne Dancers, from Wayne, outdoors at the Vernon Base and dip into the Hex. And we share a cab, that's Cabriolet, our favorite ride.
Then down to the Granite Peak base where we share a SnowboardSecret or two. And we meet the very stoked Brian from Hoboken who has gotten the grab tonight and proclaims "it's Vermont quality snow" in Vernon, NJ. Now it's party time with Unexplained Bacon at the Kink Bar, at the South Peak Base Lodge. Nashoba Freeride Series Rail Jam - January 16, 2010 Nashoba Valley Ski Reosrt raises them up and throws it down in the first of 3 terrain park events this season. Park Manager Keith Kreischer gives an update of this 3 rail feature event with mostly the local crew competing.Skiers Bobby Sullivan in the yellow pants and Tim do the misty flip. Sophie gives the 2 hand plant she worked on at snowboard camp a go on the rooftop box. We interview hard-working "out of towner" Nicholas Legere who competed in 2 rail jams in one day this season. And we catch up with 16 year-old Zach Normandin, Nashoba local who won 12th in slopestyle Open Class at USASA Nationals last season and has been interviewed by Trans World Snowboarding.
Then we visit Nashoba's Tubing Park, the largest one in New England. It even has an observation deck where parents not tubing can party to the music while their kids tube.
