 High Cascade at Mountain Creek, February 2013
High Cascade Snowboard Camp of Mount Hood, Oregon, came to Mountain Creek, in Vernon, NJ for 2 weekends in late winter 2013. Coaches and snowboarders, kids and adults upped their game in the dedicated private snowboard terrain park at South Peak. Jumps, boxes and rails as well as flatland tricks like the tripod and butters were the curriculum and everyone progressed, to their delight.
In this video we follow the 3 adult snowboard campers, Mark Scofield, Ralph Rosado, and Mark Bellncula, with their coach (and Burton rep) "Matty B" Bothfeld.
Adults were offered separate entertainment from the kids, including BBQ dinner at the Kink, after-camp get-together at Schuss in the Red Tail Lodge and access to the breathtaking Spa at Minerals Resort.

 Small Empire Skate Park Tour with Tom Weiss
Small Empire Skate Park in Flanders, NJ was designed by Tom Weiss and his friend Sam, to have just about every feature a skateboarder could want including an 8 foot high quarterpipe as well as a bowl quarter starter mini ramp halfpipe, a bowl wall, Euro gap, roller to stairset with hubba, wallrides, A-frame, box, banked ramp, handrails, curved C-bank, a pyramid with quarterpies on the sides that they invented, and more.
Here Tom Weiss gives us a tour of the indoor park and of the well-stocked skateboard shop, and we watch some action. Skate camp, birthday parties, contests, and more.

 Rome SDS - The Shred Remains - Movie Premiere, Boston, September 17, 2011
We're showing a few clips here of the as yet unreleased "The Shred Remains" snowboard video by Rome SDS. Stay tuned 'til the end where MFR calls it "highly illegal" to show these clips in the quick interview at the end and Johnny Lazz....well, you'll just have to check it out. We talk to Marie France Roy about her handplant, LNP feels the love, and Riley Nickerson says "Boston is awesome" (which we know 'cause it's our home town.) The crowd at Boston University's GSU gets lots of schwag and leaves happy.

The Art of Flight Movie Premieres in New York City on September 7, 2011. We interview several of the athletes in a freestyle style at Paragon Sports in NYC on the day before. They haven't even seen the movie yet and don't know if they made it in or ended up with their footage on the cutting room floor.  Granite Gorge, Keene, NH, Season Preview
Rich Picarelli gives us some quality face time on a summer day at Antrim, NH's Home and Harvest Days, and tells us what's waiting for us this winter at Granite Gorge, in Keene, NH. He knows the park inside and out and he drives the coolest company car ever! It's a '71 VW bus in lime green that he and a buddy rehabbed for the Gorge.  Evolvefest 2010 Monday, Part 3
Monday (at least for Lauren) started out with Dave Bryson doing a spiritual reading, then the Group Invocation/Circle Dance. Yoga of the Heart/Tantric Breathing with Beth Nolan brought participants into a new realm of energy. Then topped off with Vibrational Sound Massage with gongs and singing bowls. Sue from Edison tells about the late night show last night and compares this Evolvefest to years past.

Raquy and The Cavemen start the day with their irresistible drumming while a dancer twirls ecstatically. Evolvefest Founder Dave Bryson shares the good news that the festival is front page news in the Sunday Herald. The Yoga Stage has a full roster of music and dance including The Pranadhanas Yoga/Dance group.
