Cheryl Harrison Malfetti and Charles Malfetti, founders of the International Ski Dancing Association demonstrate their beautiful sport and craft of partner dancing on skis on a bluebird day at Wachusett Mountain, MA in December 2013. We interview them to find the origin and secrets of the new sport.

 Snowboard Party - Boston Harbor for The Main Event 11.11.11
Menage Onze was the name of this party by Main Event impresario Brandon Halberstadt to kick off the snowboard season in Boston during the Boston Globe Ski and Snowboard Expo. The boat was the Freedom and the dancing started before the boat even pulled away from the pier. Music by DJ Knife.

 Granite Gorge Mountain of Steez #2 2011
Granite Gorge, Roxbury, New Hampshire, 5 miles from Keene, knows how to throw down a party. This 2nd annual Mountain of Steez all day and all night party had 20 snowboard product sponsors, 3 or 4 contests on snow, outdoor food, a live band in the Beer Garden tent, swag tosses, freeriding in the park AND the usual, night riding and snow tubing. Late party at Lab 'n Lager and the Railroad in Keene, and a secret lakeside location, complete with blind-folded shuttle bus ride. Also, at the end of the vid hear the secret trail we found after riding all day at GG.

 Mountain Creek After Dark, Jan 2011, Vernon, New Jersey
Friday night at Mountain Creek, and it's all about the dancing! First we meet Sal Good to talk about our lesson tomorrow at Switch Academy, then we meet his crew, TJ Santana, Jeff, Tory, and Cam. Next, we meet the Wayne Dancers, from Wayne, outdoors at the Vernon Base and dip into the Hex. And we share a cab, that's Cabriolet, our favorite ride.
Then down to the Granite Peak base where we share a SnowboardSecret or two. And we meet the very stoked Brian from Hoboken who has gotten the grab tonight and proclaims "it's Vermont quality snow" in Vernon, NJ. Now it's party time with Unexplained Bacon at the Kink Bar, at the South Peak Base Lodge. After Rails to Riches 2010 was the Pimp & Ho Ho Ho Party at The Pickle Barrel on the Killington Road. SnowCleavage and men dressed to the teeth. Jeannie Magoon knows EVERYone! LifeSpeed keeps the crowd moving in the right direction.
Then we pop over to the late night party at Outback Pizza where we experience the never-before seen phenomenon of FREE FOOD at a snowboard party!
